However, there are some things you can do to make yourself more comfortable in your new surroundings.
Set up a gripping bar, along with a shower chair in your bathroom for your convenience and easy access.
Get rid of any throw rugs in the area that may cause you to slip and fall. You should also consider hiding or fastening any electrical cords around or near the room.
If you have a walker or crutches, then you will need to rearrange the furniture in your room so you will be able to manuever around safely and easily.
